De Fangio a Max

An editorial design project for the Digital Publishing course: a themed Formula 1 magazine covering eight drivers who marked turning points in the sport, from Juan Manuel Fangio to Max Verstappen.

Each spread pairs a driver with the car that defined their era. The left page carries the biography, and the right page gives the machine room to breathe with full-bleed photography. Every chapter shifts its color palette to match the car’s livery: silver for the Mercedes W196, blue for the Tyrrell, black and gold for the Lotus 72D, red and white for the McLaren. A consistent typographic system ties it all together, pairing outlined and solid headlines with narrow text columns.

The project covers the full piece: cover, table of contents, layout, image treatment and print-ready mockups.
